Cross-country Initiation 20 – 40 km.
You can reach the cloud but then don’t really know where to go?
You get buffeted in the thermal but you don’t know why?
You wonder about the weather but no one can answer your questions?
You get information on the web but find it difficult to use in practice?
This course is for you!
Find independance, transit into another valley and understand choices so you don’t just follow someone.
Every morning, together we look at the general and local weather picture and decipher what this will mean in the sky.
Answering questions about choice of take-off depending on orientation and time of day.
Making the best tactical choices and ensuring safe and relaxed flying.
Every day we head towards the take-off point chosen during the morning’s weather briefing.
During the first 2 or 3 days we will remain in the Val de Bagnes.
Cross-country flights of 20 to 40km are possible within the valley.
After having understood the local aerology, we shall fly to the neighbouring valleys and put together flights covering two or three valleys.
We will end the day with an evening flight or soaring at Croix de Cœur.
Private course: all season depending on availability (see calendar)

Unfortunately, not participating in an alternative activity does not mean a refund.
