High Mountain paragliding 5 day course

This course is made for you!

Roc des PlinesProgram:
1st day:
Welcome participants, morning flight in the Verbier region.
Before midday, leave for the Trient refuge (3170m.). Night in the refuge.
2nd day:
Glacier hike to the Aiguille du Tour (3540m.) or to the Roc des
Plines (3240m.), take-off from the glacier and flight back to the valley.
Afternoon, hike up to the refuge de Mille (2472m.). Night at the refuge.
3rd day:
Hike up the Rogneux (3083m.) take-off near the top and flight back to the valley.
Afternoon flight in the Verbier area. Night at the Brunet refuge (2013m.)
Access by thermal flight or road.
4th day:
Morning flight in the Verbier area and departure for the Pannossière cabin.
Night at the cabin.
5th day:
Hike up the Petit Combin and take-off from the top, flight back down to the valley.
End of the trip with possibility of a last flight in the Verbier area.

Every day and during each flight, weather permitting, thermal flights are possible. In the afternoon and in the evening the Verbier-Croix de Coeur region and the Col de Mille offer cabane Trientgreat soaring possibilities…

Group: Maximum 6 people per group

Included in the price:
4 nights in cabins half-board.
Mountain Guide / paragliding instructor during the whole trip.
Taxis and cabins during the whole trip.

Priority will be given to mountain flights.

Required level:
Limited alpine hiking experience.
Autonomous pilot, fit and healthy, knows how to fly in turbulent thermal conditions.
Capable of taking off facing the wing in winds of 25 km/h.
Licensed pilot with a free flying insurance and member of a paragliding association, like the FSVL (Swiss Free Flying Federation).

Equipement :
Quite light flying equipment.
Mountain clothing and boots.
Crampons and telescopic poles.
Climbing harness.
Radios are provided by the school.
